ABOUT US
Treasureland Health Builders (THB) is a non governmental, not for profit and voluntary organization trained by the World Bank and the British Council on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and Family and Community Re-orientation (FACOR). Our work is mainly at the grass root level, helping community members get information that will aid their development. Our major activities focuses on youth, women and children, covering issues on health, education, poverty, skill acquisition programme and micro credit for indigent women and youths.
The organization started as Student Health Club (SHC) in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria in the year 2002, where our activities then were solely talking to fellow youths on health issues, hospital visitation and donations.
The organization latter matured to Treasureland Health Builders (THB) under the auspices of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) where we initiated and executed more than seven (7) selfless projects in 2006.
Ifesinachi Sam-Emuwa (Mrs.) a health educator, and Development Knowledge Facilitator, founded the organization. |
